Civilian Ordnance

This course satisfies the New York State requirements for obtaining a concealed carry pistol permit. Students will receive in-depth instruction on firearm safety, handling, storage, and lawful use of a handgun, including situational awareness and defensive strategies.

Curriculum Includes:

• NYS Penal Law & Legal Responsibilities of Concealed Carry
• Firearm Safety, Storage, and Secure Handling
• Use of Force Laws & Situational Decision-Making
• Marksmanship Fundamentals
• Safe Drawing from Concealment & Live-Fire Practice
• De-escalation and Conflict Avoidance
• Written Exam and Qualification Shooting

• Comfortable clothing appropriate for range conditions
